New Brighton Dog Groomer - A love of dogs leads to a career change

It all begins with an idea.

I’ve always wanted to run my own business. I even took a business degree because I had no idea what to do…but knew I wanted to do it for myself. Skip ahead a decade and a half and here I am taking my Ipet Level 3 in Dog Grooming and Spa Management!

I’ve been working in Hospitality and Admin based roles for the past 20 years and have a real love for organising and giving great customer service. Most recently I’ve been running the office for Pegs and Pitches Camping (two lovely Sussex based campsites if you’re after somewhere to camp!).

After getting our own dog, Finn, in 2020 (yes, he is a lockdown pup!), it really reminded me of my love for animals and it didn’t take long for me to realise this is where I should put my energy! As I write this, I have just completed and passed my third and final assessment at the Bone Idol Academy in Hove. I have just five more days to go before my course is finished and I can become a fully fledged dog groomer in Brighton!

I am beyond excited and can’t wait to meet all the lovely pooches in my area! Please bear with me while I get to grips with running a new business…and keep your eye on this blog as I will be posting fun and educational content for dog owners.
